Buyer problem

Your mission needs people with room to do the work.

New opportunities bring new obligations; staff must deliver programs and show what they achieve; leaders need to make difficult choices while keeping people connected to the mission.

We help connect that work, with organizational change support alongside the AI implementation.

A connected example

Follow one decision through the work it creates.

A grants collaborator identifies a relevant opportunity; your team examines its fit against program evidence and delivery capacity. Dr. P AI supports the leadership tradeoffs. The resulting decision becomes an agreed commitment. Ownership and reporting requirements are made clear.

As work proceeds, permitted delivery evidence informs the next decision; a funding opportunity becomes part of an organizational conversation about what your team can responsibly achieve.

Illustrative workflow. Actual scope and available capabilities are confirmed before implementation.

What it draws on

    The capabilities

    Three collaborators. One connected engagement.

We select the programs and workflows to activate around your executive team's urgent priorities. The capabilities below guide that scope; the engagement does not promise unlimited implementation of every item.

    Where OrgLayer is going

More collaborators are planned for Q1 2027.

The first collaborators cover leadership, grants and programs. The next ones follow the same pattern: approved organizational knowledge, a focused job, and a person who stays responsible for the result.

    Operations

Keeps recurring tasks, owners and deadlines visible across the team.

Planned, not yet available. Scope and timing can change, and each collaborator is confirmed before an engagement includes it.

    Human implementation support

Help for the people making the change.

The engagement includes a readiness assessment and communication support; five 90-minute training sessions help people practice with the implementation. Biweekly CEO coaching provides human support for the leadership decisions and organizational changes involved.

Dr. P AI extends strategic collaboration between sessions; it does not replace the agreed human coaching or imply that Dr. P personally reviews every AI response.

    Six-month timeline

Implement the system. Strengthen the way it works.

    Month 1

    Understand and prepare

Identify urgent priorities and establish baselines; review relevant program and grant information. Agree on access and implementation scope.

    Months 2-3

    Activate and practice

Build the scoped brain and collaborators; test selected workflows and train the team. Address early issues before expanding the work.

    Months 4-6

    Refine and strengthen

Review actual use and results; improve the agreed implementation and support organizational changes. Establish responsibilities for continued operation.

    Implementation depth

    How the implementation fits together.

    1. KnowBuild the organizational brain from approved knowledge.
    2. WorkConfigure focused collaborators around selected tasks.
    3. ConnectBring permitted information from existing tools into the work.
    4. OperateCoordinate commitments and handoffs with accountable owners.
    5. Learn and ImproveExamine recurring problems and assess the results of changes.

These describe implementation depth. They are activated within your engagement's scope, not sold as five separate packages or promised as a complete rollout in the first 90 days.

    Outcomes

Progress you can recognize and assess.

Look for a clearer picture of grants and programs; assess reporting consistency and whether work moves with clearer ownership; review leadership time alongside output quality and team workload.

More time with people and greater confidence in the mission are outcomes worth pursuing. We support and measure staff experience. Belonging and psychological safety need attention in how people lead and work together.

Funding awards and successful expansion depend on factors beyond the system. We focus on stronger preparation and better-informed decisions.

    Trust

Clear boundaries for shared work and private support.

The implementation defines who can access organizational information and which actions require review; confidential coaching is kept separate from shared organizational knowledge.

Your organization's brain is separate from other clients and Dr. P's private professional memory. These boundaries form part of implementation scope and verification.

    Questions

Common questions about OrgLayer for Nonprofits.

Can a nonprofit use AI agents with donor and program information?

The engagement defines which information the AI may use and who may use it. Your staff review drafts and decisions. We confirm permissions in your environment before we agree on the build.

Is Dr. P AI optional in this offer?

No. Strategic collaboration is part of the nonprofit vertical, alongside grants and programs support. Dr. P AI is included.

    Must we complete Foundation first?

No. You can begin with the nonprofit engagement if it fits your needs and capacity. The required groundwork is included in its scope.

Does the engagement cover every program and grant?

We agree on the initial portfolio and deliverables before starting. The six-month engagement covers that contracted scope; additional expansion is scoped separately.

What does our team need to contribute?

An executive sponsor and implementation owner are needed; your team provides agreed information and time for review and training. We define the expected participation during scoping.

    What does ongoing operation cost?

The proposal separates implementation from the hosted system's operating fee and shows the expected total engagement cost. Operating charges begin at usable access. The fee has a defined allowance; additional charges require approval. They continue while we provide the system.

    What happens after six months?

Continued system operation is covered by the agreed operating arrangement. Additional consulting or expansion is separately scoped. We specify support boundaries before the engagement begins. That includes how your organization can retrieve its information if the relationship ends.

More room to lead. Better support for your mission.

Let's examine how leadership decisions connect with grants and program delivery, and where that work needs better support. We'll discuss whether an integrated OrgLayer engagement fits your organization and what the first scope should include.

    The Humans

Keeping it real. Meet the people behind OrgLayer.

Dr. Pablo Otaola (Ed.D., Organizational Change and Leadership, USC Rossier) combines that field with practical AI implementation.

His approach examines the conditions behind recurring problems and helps leaders translate decisions into changes people can practice. OrgLayer brings that approach into organizational knowledge and supported workflows, with human consulting identified clearly where needed.
